Burdette Huffman
MANAGING PARTNER
Burdette serves as Managing Partner for Lamb Communities. He leverages his 20 years of investment, brokerage, and development experience to create value, solve problems, and maximize potential outcomes.
Burdette is also Executive Vice President of Blue Ox, a retail real estate brokerage firm. Previously, he was Vice President of Development for Lovett Commercial, a major Texas commercial developer where he notably developed large-scale retail projects anchored by Walmart and HEB. Prior to Lovett, Burdette was the Vice President of E-Commerce and Marketing and a member of the senior leadership team for Francesca's Collections (NASDAQ: FRAN). Additionally, he worked for Weingarten Realty (NYSE: WRI), where he served as a Director in several capacities including Acquisitions, Capital Markets, and New Development. Burdette has purchased, sold, developed, and spearheaded joint ventures for over $750 million worth of manufactured housing, land, retail, and industrial projects.
In the community, Burdette serves as an adjunct faculty member at Rice University's Jones School of Business, a board member for Young Life Houston, an advisory board member for Urban Land Institute (ULI) Houston, a board member for Texas Manufactured Housing Association (TMHA), and a building committee member at Western Academy.
In his spare time, you can find Burdette out on the town with his wife of 20 years, Monica, hanging out with his 14-year-old son or chasing his young twins and their two labrador dogs, Tex and Dos.
TODD LAMB
FOUNDER
Todd G. Lamb is a seasoned real estate investor and developer, boasting 16 years of experience in buying, selling, and managing various real estate ventures. As the founder of Lamb Communities, Todd has spearheaded projects ranging from townhomes to commercial office buildings and mobile home communities across multiple states.
Since August 2003, Todd has focused primarily on acquiring and managing mobile home communities across Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Mississippi, and Louisiana, totaling 3956 spaces. Known for his hands-on management strategy, Todd excels in transforming communities to maximize efficiency, maintaining an impressive average occupancy rate of 97.4%.
Active involvement in the Texas Manufactured Housing Association (TMHA) has been a cornerstone of Todd's career, serving on the board of directors for 14 years in various capacities, including as Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors. Currently, he serves as one of three Community Representatives for the state.
With 21+ years of experience, Todd Lamb remains dedicated to staying compliant with regulations, holding licenses such as Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO), and owning a Registered Creditor Company to adhere to the S.A.F.E. Act and Dodd/Frank regulations.
